One lucky winner bought a Powerball ticket in Monmouth County for Saturday's NJ lottery drawing and scored a cool $1 million.

The ticket was purchased at a local ShopRite on Route 34 and Lloyd Road in Aberdeen in Monmouth County NJ on Tuesday. "If the $1 million winner had spent an extra $1 to exercise the Power Play option, he or she would have won $3 million," according to lottery officials.

Wow. One more buck could have really increased their winnings my $2 million. That's insane.

However, I'm sure the winner wasn't complaining about the $1 million jackpot they just scored.

The winning numbers for Saturday's Powerball drawing were 5, 8, 41, 65 and 66.
he Powerball Drawn was 20.

The Power Play was 3X. T

By the way, the chances of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1.

So if you didn't win this time just know the actual odds are basically slim to none and there is always next time.

In the meantime, try for the Mega Millions - the next drawing is tonight.
