Looks like you'll have a new italian dining option in Hamilton Township (Mercer County) soon, according to ROI.

A Slice of Brooklyn, serving italian food and wood-fired pizza, is coming to Route 33, in the Hamilton Plaza. I don't know for sure, but, I think that solves the mystery of what's taking over the old Vito's pizza place, next to AC Moore. That would make sense, right, since there is already restaurant equipment there. We'll see.

You're going to love this news...the operator of the new place, A Slice of Brooklyn, is the owner of Marcello's Coal Fired Restaurant & Pizza on Farnsworth Avenue in Bordentown. Yum. Great place.

The leasing rep, Sidney Singer, said, "This ownership has experienced tremendous success at Marcello’s and will bring that same standard of authentic Italian food and specialty pizza to A Slice of Brooklyn at Hamilton Plaza. It will be a great new addition at a time when good things are happening at this community shopping and dining destination.”

Hamilton Plaza also houses Shop Rite, Hair Cuttery, Queen Bee Nail Salon, Petco, Dollar Tree, Texas Roadhouse, Moe's Southwest Grill, T-Mobile and more.

No word on an exact opening date. I'll keep you posted.
