According to a report from the Electronic Software Association, three out of every five Americans play some sort of video game every day, and my Alma mater Rider University is keeping up with the times with a new major to offer their student's..

Rider is now offering a Bachelor's Degree in Game & Interactive Media Design beginning in the fall semester of 2019. The major is offered by the Fine and Performing Arts department and will be a 120-credit program. Students will learn design, communication, computer science and create projects that they can use to obtain a job in this growing field.
