They've already completely conquered the award show and late night television circuit here in the States (well, almost completely — the boys could certainly use some music-focused nominations alongside those social media and fandom noms...), but BTS are already setting their sights on an even bigger U.S. televised playing field: the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

During their interview with TIME magazine, member Suga of the superstar South Korean group admitted he certainly wouldn't mind performing at the iconic American sporting event in the future.

"I’m just throwing it out there, but maybe we could perform at the Super Bowl someday," he quipped.

And honestly, why shouldn't one of the biggest music acts on the entire planet be able to take one of the most famous stages in America, a stage performed on by fellow superstars like Britney Spears, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake?

The appeal of BTS is their ability to make universally relevant music—language barriers be damned!—that makes people feel connected and feel seen.

"We started to tell the stories that people wanted to hear and were ready to hear, stories that other people could not or would not tell," Suga explained to TIME. "We said what other people were feeling—like pain, anxieties and worries. That was our goal, to create this empathy that people can relate to."
