If you call 217-332-1882 at any point today a live person will sing you a Christmas carol of your choice. Seriously.

Dial-a-Carol, has been a tradition at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign for 58 years and has become extremely popular.

So Here's how it works: you call them anytime and request a holiday song, and they try their best to sing it to you. You dial, and you get to hear a personalized Christmas carol.

These are real college students who will sing to you, by the way, so it's not a robot or recording. Of course, they admit that they can sometimes be out of tune, but they'll try their best to deliver you your requested holiday song.

Last year, they had over 10,000 calls from all 50 states and 75 countries. They even tracked how many times people called in and requested Mariah Carey's 'All I want for Christmas is you,' and they sang it more than 300 times!

Everything about this seems wonderful to me, especially because it's a great way to spend holiday cheer. The bad news is, today is the last day to call. The line has been open for 7 days as the students have volunteered their time.

Here's the list of songs you can call & request!

Here's a video of what happened when someone and requested 'Silent Night.'

There's more info on their Facebook page! Go ahead, give it a try today.
