Here's some great news if you're a skier:

Camelback Mountain in Tannersville, PA will open for the 2018-2019 season this weekend (November 30). They're even offering "opening weekend" specials on lift tickets.

“We have over 10-inches of natural snow and have experienced ideal snow making conditions for the past couple weeks,” said Ame Cameron, VP of Sales and Marketing at Camelback Resort.

This will be Camelback's 55th season and they've added some new features -- including a new trail and a new top-to-bottom terrain park.  There's also 2 new restaurants -- Berelli's Family Style Italian (the name says it all) and Kartrite's Summit House. They say Kartite's Summit House is the highest restaurant in the Pocono.  In addition to offering an amazing view, Kartrite's features contemporary American fare.

Camelback Mountain, which is home to 38 trails, touts that they "offer to close-to-home winter fun for beginners to experts."  In fact, Huffington Post named it the #1 place in America to learn to ski and snowboard.

Skiing starts at 9am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Snowtubing opens Friday at noon and Saturday and Sunday at 9am.
