Car Crashes Into Dining Room of Popular Bensalem Eatery

An accident at a popular Bensalem eatery has closed their dining room for the foreseeable future. A car crashed into the window of Taranova's Pizza & Pasta in Bensalem on Christmas Day, according to eyewitness accounts.

Taranova’s is located in the Neshaminy Square Plaza on Neshaminy Blvd in Bensalem.

Luckily the restaurant was closed for the Christmas holiday so nobody was hurt in the accident. The incident did, however, cause significant damage to their main dining room.

We've reached out to the Bensalem Police Department for additional details about the crash.

“Due to some unfortunate events with a car - our front dining room will be closed for an undetermined amount of time,” Taranova’s wrote on Facebook. “We will still be open normal business hours tomorrow - with eat in moved to the back dining room.”

Photos posted online show glass shattered and chairs strewn about in the dining room.

Taranova’s also took the time to thank first responders for their help.

“Thank you to the Bensalem Police and Bensalem Fire Rescue for all of your support today,” they wrote on Facebook.
