Changes at Cherry Hill Mall

Summer always seems to be a slow time for shopping malls, but a lot is happening at Cherry Hill Mall.

Last month, Fat Burger opened at the mall in the spot that formerly housed Bobby's Burger Place.  Meanwhile, California Pizza Kitchen has closed it's Cherry Hill Mall location.

There are still several places you can find pizza in the mall, including The Bistro at Cherry Hill and Lorenzo's Pizza.  Plus, a new pizza restaurant is being added to the mall next to Fat Burger.  It's called MidiCi, the Neapolitan Pizza Company, and it has locations throughout the U.S.  Cherry Hill Mall will be the company's first New Jersey location.  MidiCi's website and signage in the mall say that the restaurant is coming soon.

Dough Life, the edible cookie dough shop, closed earlier this year.  The space it has vacated will be part of a much larger space being leased by the beauty brand, Morphe.  (You can get more info on Morphe in a story we posted last week).

If you're a fan of edible cookie dough, don't worry, the sweet treat is still available in the mall at GelaDough Cafe in the food court.  In addition to cookie dough, the cafe serves gelato, coffee drinks and more.

The mall has also added a Kona Ice kiosk near Macy's.
