"Home Alone," "Elf," "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."  You may have seen these classic holiday movies on TV a million times, but imagine seeing them on the big screen?

Well, here's your chance because those and other holiday classics will be showing on select dates in December at the Newtown Theatre in Bucks County.

  • "Elf" will be showing at 3pm on Sat., Dec. 8.
  • "It's a Wonderful Life" will be showing at 7pm on Sun., Dec. 9 and at 7pm on Sat., Dec. 22.
  • "A Christmas Story" will be showing at 3pm on Sat., Dec. 15.
  • "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" will be showing at 1pm on Sun., Dec. 16.
  • The original "Miracle on 34th Street" will be showing at 4pm on Sun., Dec. 16.
  • "The Bells of St. Mary" will be showing at 7pm on Tue., Dec. 18.
  • "Holiday Inn" will be showing at 7pm on Thu., Dec. 20.
  • "Home Alone" will be showing at 3pm on Sun., Dec. 23.

The Newtown Theatre is the oldest movie theatre in the United States, having shown its first movie in 1906.

The 300 seat theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown, PA.
