Date Is Set For Annual Newtown Holiday Parade

This year's Holiday Parade in Newtown, PA will happen on Sunday, Dec. 2nd from 2-4pm.  The date was announced by the parade's host, the Newtown Business Association.

The parade will go "from South State Street at the Stocking Works. It then continues north to Washington Avenue and makes a left turn, then turns right onto Sycamore Street. The Parade eventually ends at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road."

The NBA says that 50 groups (and around 1,800 people) participated in last year's parade.  Groups compete in a number of categories, like "Most Festive" and "Most Creative."

The annual Newtown Holiday Parade is sponsored by McCaffrey's Supermarket.
