Yesterday, we told you about how a Taylor Swift social media post caused a spike in people registering to vote in Tennessee.  Well, you've probably heard the saying, "If you don't vote, you don't count," or "if you don't vote, you can't complain."  With Election Day less than a month away, the deadline to register to vote in New Jersey is quickly approaching.

Each state has different rules when it comes to registering to vote.  For example, the deadline in Pennsylvania has already passed, but in New Jersey, you have up until 21 days before an election to register, which means you have until Oct. 16.

Some states allow residents to register online, but that's not the case in New Jersey.  In the Garden State, you must register in person or by mail.  For more information, click here.
