If you are skeptical about UFO's, you might be surprised that there is actually a National UFO reporting center, where you can submit details of a UFO sighting in your area. In 2018 alone, there were 51 reported UFO sightings. The reporting center is responsible for recording 90,000 sightings worldwide.

Some New Jersey towns on the list include Cherry Hill, Jackson, West Windsor, Trenton, South Amboy, and Cape May. There are several recent instances of a UFO sighting in Monmouth County.

While the descriptions of these sightings vary, they do seem to have a lot in common.  They usually involve a mysterious flash of colorful light, that is slowly moving or hovering in the sky.

Here were some recent local sightings:

Surrounding neighbors had also come outside to inspect the noise, which they thought was a bomb or plane crash.

| Trenton |

June 4th, 2018 9:35 p.m. an anonymous Mercer County resident reported a formation of objects in the sky that were orange to red colors, lasting for about 5 minutes.

June 17th, 2018 10 p.m. an anonymous Mercer County resident reported an intense light in the sky that grew in intensity and then turned and dissipated after 2 minutes.

| West Windsor |

February 13th, 2018 5:01 a.m. A bright rectangular object spotted flying in the sky by a Mercer County resident. The observer claims to have seen the object flying about 10,000 feet in altitude over his home before disappearing after 2 minutes.

| Plainsboro |

April 10th, 2018 8:30 p.m. A Mercer County resident spotted a large triangular craft flying with 3 bright white lights in the sky. The aircraft apparently was seen stopping and changing directions for a duration of 60 seconds.

Editors note - I am definitely not suggesting that I believe in UFO's but I am definitely open to the idea and its credibility.

I also believe the term is coined very loosely. UFO is defined as an unidentified flying object, which doesn't necessarily imply that there are aliens flying around every time someone sees a flying object they can't identify.

With thousands of people reporting UFO sightings around the globe, do you believe they are real?
