Pumpkinfest has become an annual tradition in Doylestown, PA and this year, it's happening on Saturday, Oct. 20th from 2-10pm at Moravian Tile Works on East Swamp Road.

CB-Cares.org describes the event as "Artist vs Prizewinner Pumpkin," which basically means that expert carvers create incredible works of art out of prize-winning, 300-lb. pumpkins.  While they carve, the public is invited to enjoy live music, food trucks, and amusements.  " This traditional fall event attracts people from all regions to witness the magical transformation that become aglow at dusk."

"CB Cares EF champions two friendraising events each year to celebrate (their) community and raise awareness of the importance of the innovative learning opportunities (they) foster through our programs and grants offered in the Central Bucks School District."

October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month and as part of that, Pumpkinfest is an alcohol and drunk free event.  For more info, click here.
