I love downtown Bordentown, there are so many cute shops & amazing restaurants. Yet, I have to admit that sometimes I skip visiting because I know it's going to be a headache to find parking.

Now I won't have to worry about that anymore. I just saw on Community News that a new shuttle service will be starting soon to help you get around town. This will eliminate the hassle of driving around and finding parking.

Oh, yeah, and the best part? The shuttle is free.
Such. Great. News.

Here's how it works:

Motorists will park at the Carslake Community Center/Gilder Field Park area. The shuttle will take you into town (you can eat, shop and wander around).

The shuttle will stop at:

  • The intersection of Crosswicks Street and Farnsworth Avenue
  • Farnsworth Avenue and Railroad Avenue
  • Second Street and East Church Street

It'll run every 15 minutes (or so) on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 10 pm.

They may add additional service during the holiday season as well. Plus, expanded shuttle service is possible for special events like Cranberry Fest.

I think I may make reservations at Toscano or Marcello's now that parking just got easier.
