Melania Trump was scheduled to be in Philadelphia today, when her plane had to temporarily around.

She was supposed to appear Thomas Jefferson University Hospital this morning, but right after take-off, her plane experienced a mechanical issue.

There were smells of something burning and smoke was filling the cabin rather quickly, according to reports. They turned the plan around and went back to Washington D.C. while crew members tried to identify the issue.

So is Melania Trump canceling her trip to the city of brotherly love? Nope! The issue was resolved and she has landed safely in Philadelphia.

She will meet with families affected by opioid exposure at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. We're happy to hear that the First Lady is safe and sound.
