Meek Mill is doing something amazing for his hometown. He is donating $500k to the city of Philadelphia for the holidays. Families in need all over the city will be getting gifts and presents from the rapper for Christmas. The epic event goes down this Sunday and any and everyone is invited to attend!

The location has yet to be announced, but there have been whispers that it will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center or the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center in North Philadelphia. According to TMZ, Mill has once again joined forces with Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin as well as New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and will be handing out presents like bikes, laptops, toys, gift cards, and more.

Mill posted on his Instagram story that the event his weekend will be bigger than ever before thanks to Dreamchasers, Robert Kraft, Michael Rubin, and Roc Nation, the event is first come first served and everything is 100 percent free.

This isn't the first time Mill has acted as Santa Claus for the City of Brotherly Love. For years he has been making sure that kids in the city have something under their tree for Christmas. Just last year he blessed a bunch of families with gifts delivered to their front door and a video call. According to Philly Voice, Meek Mill plans to also give a $30,000 donation to the Philadelphia chapter of 12 Days of Christmas.

Meek Mill has been in the news a lot over the past year for various things, good and bad. But no one can deny that he loves the city of Philadelphia and also does what he can to help out and give back.
