Well, this is pretty cool. A 5th grader from Hamilton Township is performing in this year's "Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes" at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, according to Community News.

Roman Engel is the 10-year-old local star.  He attends the University Heights Elementary School, and says he is super excited to be playing Ben in this year's production.

Roman told Community News that "Ben is a 7-year-old boy who has to find a gift for his sister and the magic of Christmas for his brother." He says he has a lot of speaking lines in the show too.

What an amazing opportunity for a local boy. One day when he wins Oscars or Emmys, it'll be cool to hear that he's from Hamilton.

This isn't his first gig though, he's been acting since he was 5 years old. His long list of credits include appearing in a test pilot for Disney Theatrics’ Freaky Friday, playing Tiny Tim in a Christmas Carol at McCarter Theater, and he's made several appearances at Kelsey Theater at Mercer County Community College. Plus, he just worked with Nickelodeon on an upcoming project.

Break a leg, Roman...everyone at PST is rooting for you.
