We'll have a hometown girl to root for on the upcoming season of 'The Bachelor.'

Yeah, ABC just announced that a woman from Hamilton, NJ will be one of the contestants on the next season of the hit show.

Angelique is described on ABC.com as "a small-town Jersey girl with a love of corny jokes."  She is listed as 28 years old, and they say she's marketing salesperson. Angelique's personal Instagram account is set to private, but several spoiler sites have done some digging around to find she works for a firm in our area.

Of course, Angelique and 29 other women will compete to win the heart of Colton Underwood in the 23rd season of "The Bachelor," which is set to debut on Jan. 7.

Underwood is a 26-year-old former NFL player that was featured on Becca's season of "The Bachelorette."  He is best known for professing his love to Becca, while also revealing to her that he was a virgin.

Underwood was sent home by Becca after that confession.  He appeared on "Bachelor in Paradise" earlier this year before being announced as "The Bachelor."

Sherman isn't the first member of "Bachelor Nation" to have ties to Mercer County.  Click here for more of a list.
