A Trenton family desperately needs help to bury their beloved son, and give him the funeral he deserves.

Promising 14 year old Trenton boy, Zay'quan Wheeler, lost his life on Monday, February 4th, after chasing his favorite basketball in Cadwalader Park. He slipped into the icy Delaware Raritan Canal.

I have been following this story, and was hoping for a better outcome. So sad.

Zay'quan was an only child, and his family is beyond devastated. According to Ron Davis, who created a Go Fund Me to help the family with funeral expenses, Zay'quan will always be remembered for his "unforgettable smile and ability to entertain others." He attended Joyce Kilmer Middle School and performed in many school productions. He was on the middle school track team & basketball team, was a great baseball player, and was the life of the party at family functions. The entire community is mourning his death. He will be sorely missed by so many.

If you are able, please find it in your heart to make a monetary donation to help this family with funeral expenses. Click here to donate. Thank you.
