It's no secret I love food. To me, food is more than just nourishment. I think it's also a form of entertainment. What I would consider a fun night out involves great food, friends and conversation. Before I could go to bars and clubs, my friends and I would go out to a diner or restaurant and spend our night there. So when I saw this list of the best burgers in each county of New Jersey on NJ.com I had to know which burgers made the cut.

I currently live in Mercer County, and according to the list, the best burger in my home county comes from the West Windsor/Princeton area. It's the New Mexico Burger from Bobby's Burger Palace.

They gave honorable mentions to Trenton Social in Trenton for their Social Burger and Rossi's Bar & Grill's Cheeseburger in Hamilton. Rossi's was staple in Trenton and not too long ago they made the move to Hamilton to continue making some of the best burgers in the area.

I also would like to mention a place that didn't make the list, Tiger's Tale. It's not too far from Princeton and they are known for their Cheddarburger. It's a burger topped with their creamy Wisconsin cheddar spread/sauce. Yum.

Here are a few of the other best burgers found in NJ:

Burlington County - Turkey burger from Oliver A Bistro in Bordentown City

Ocean County: OC Burger from Old Causeway in Manahawkin

- Hudson County: Blazin' Cattle Burger from Bareburger in Hoboken

Passaic County: Kobe burger from Zinburger in Clifton

Warren County: Grass-fed burger from Humpty Junior's in Columbia
