According to a post on the Yardley Boro Facebook page, Pennsylvania American Water is currently changing it's water disinfection treatment process.  Pennsylvania American Water says that "customers may notice an increase in the taste and smell of chlorine in the water as a result of the change."

According to the company, the increased taste and smell of chlorine will be temporary.  They also say that the water is safe to drink.  The treatment change is happening through April 22.  For more information, customers are asked to visit amwater.com.
