New Jersey has now become the second state to pass a law which requires schools to teach about LGBT history. California is the first state that has this particular law.

Governor Murphy signed the law, which he feels is a, “Step forward to fairness and inclusion.”

Under the new legislation, all New Jersey schools will be required to give lessons on different topics in regards to the LGBT community. Topics will include social contribution politics, etc.
