I was so excited to see a local woman on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show yesterday. Imagine how surprised I was when I was at home and saw Ellen introduce Jenna Albi of Lawrence Township during Thursday's show.

Yeah, I was GLUED to the TV! You can watch the whole clip here:

Jenna, who is 25 years old, is a special education teacher at the Williams Mastery Charter School in Philadelphia. She told Ellen her story about her passion for teaching. Plus, she revealed that she has spent a lot of her own money to help her students (in and out of school). She has even bought groceries for her students.

Jenna is an incredible woman, right?

Plus, Jenna revealed that became a special education teacher because her own brother has a learning disability. She never felt he got the attention he deserved so she wants to make a difference, and she is in the lives of her students.

You know how much I love Ellen...she's the best. She does so much good. I love everything about her, I watch her show every day.
In true Ellen fashion, she surprised Jenna by donating $25,000 to the school, and she gave Jenna $25,000 to help pay off her student loans.

Truly amazing. Jenna was totally shocked. It brought me to tears. So I'm just going to say it again: I love Ellen!
