Cherry Hill is doing something amazing for the community by holding a food drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

The food drive will take place now through January 18th and people of the Cherry Hill community are encouraged to drop donations off at the municipal building or the library.

Not only will you be able to donate just food but other things such as socks, children's coats, shampoo and more. According to patch.com these donations, "will directly benefit the Animal Welfare Association, the Cherry Hill Food Pantry; the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge; JFCS Food Pantry; Little Hands, Little Feet; the Cherry Hill Library; and the Cathedral Kitchen."

  • Paper products;
  • Canned goods;
  • Shampoo;
  • Deodorant;
  • Laundry detergent;
  • Socks;
  • Plastic utensils;
  • Floor cleaner;
  • Trash bags;
  • Non-perishable food;
  • Diapers;
  • Children's coats;
  • Books;
  • Hats;
  • Gloves;
  • Mittens;
  • Pillows;
  • DVDs; and
  • Video games.
