The Royal couple, Harry and Megan, did not make either Top 10 list, but their popularity did rise 133% and 129%, respectively.  Apparently, some people like to name their dogs after villains, because Thanos, Pennywise and Draco all gained significant popularity in 2018.

Drake's song "In My Feelings" was also inspiration for a lot of dog owners as JT, Kiki and KB were popular names over the past few months.  Other 2018 trends included naming dogs after brunch foods (Biscuit, Waffle and Muffins) and alcohol (Guinness and Whiskey).

Rover also revealed that 75% of dog owners choose a name for their pooch after meeting them and 81% give their pets nicknames.  For more finding, click here.
