New Miss America Loves To Eat And Is Happy Swimsuits Weren’t A Thing

New Miss America is our type of girl!!

Nia Imani Franklin represented New York on Sunday in Atlantic City and was crowned the new Miss America. The reason we say she is our type of girl is because Franklin mentioned that she was happy that she didn't have to wear a swimsuit because it gave her a chance to eat a little more. Can't blame her for feeling that way.

Not having the swimsuits category in this year’s competition makes Nia Imani Franklin the first young lady to be crowned Miss America without having to take part in this portion of the contest. Even though some competitors were happy they could eat more and not worry about having the “perfect” swim suit bod,  some fan weren't too happy. The host of Miss America was booed once he mentioned that there would be no swimsuits. BUMMER!!!

If you ever wondered what the New Miss America wins, well, it's a fifty thousand dollar scholarship and bragging rights.
