We're finally starting to see new life in the old Toys R Us locations in the area. I'm so happy about that. It was depressing seeing those huge buildings empty for so long (they're a reminder of the lagging retail economy).

Recently, I told you on wpst.com that RH Outlet has moved into the old Lawrenceville location. Now from Bucks County Courier Times, the former Toys R Us site by Oxford Valley Mall may not be vacant for that much longer either.

A developer wants to open a four-story hotel and a car wash at the site (right off Lincoln Highway). The hotel makes sense because Sesame Place is so close, right? Although there are already other hotels in the area around the park.

No word yet on which hotel chain it would be.

A hearing on the plans is scheduled for Wednesday night (December 12).

The article also said there are other plans for Lincoln Highway (in the area around the mall). There are plans for a Chipotle and MOD Pizza in the Target shopping center (near the old Toys R Us building. Plus, plans exist for a Zoes Kitchen, a Melt Shop, and a diner in the Lincoln Plaza Shopping Center across from Toys R Us.
