I wait all year to go to New York Comic Con (NYCC) and I'm so sad it's over, but I am extremely happy that I got another opportunity to go again.

I already can't wait to go next year, and I have made up mind: I will at least attend two out of the four days in 2019.

So let me share my experience from this past Friday with you. I've added some of my favorite photos from the day. To make it easier to read, I broke this into sections of statues/displays, cosplay, and artists:

Statues & Displays

There was a huge "Dragon Ball Z" area on the floor this year.

Isn't this Spider-Man statue super cool too?

This was an amazing Infinity Gauntlet that they had on display. They even had a similar gauntlet you could win and bring home. If I won, I'd wear it all day, and go into work with it. Maybe even do some grocery shopping with it as well. Nobody would judge, right?

Here's the Joker.

This is one of the coolest statues they had on display this year. It was Batman surrounded by all his greatest enemies. It's EPIC.

To left of the main lobby of Comic Con, is this section that is kind of like the DC Comics corner. I don't know if it's officially been named that, but I feel like it is. Last year in the same area the had an amazing "Justice League" movie display.

This year they were showcasing costumes from the new "Aquaman" movie. They also had a giant Aquaman made out of Legos.

Cosplay

Every year I am blown away by the cosplayers and this year was no different.

If you're a Pokemon fan you'll love this. I ran into Jessie and James from Team Rocket. Look at the attention to detail. Their hair pieces are nuts!

If you need a refresher of what they looked like in the show you can watch the video below.

This was a whole group of "Symbiotes." It looks like they had Carnage in the group along with symbiote versions of Spawn, Ghost Rider, and Deadpool.

I'm sad to admit I have no clue who these two characters are. They may be from a video game, but I'm not sure. Either way, their cosplay is amazing. Believe it or not, there actually was another person under that armor.

I also didn't know who these characters were, but I knew I had to take a picture of them. Then I learned that they were from "Bob's Burgers" and the giant green thing was Kuchi Kopi. Watch the video here to get more info on Kuchi Kopi.

Once I saw this crew I knew I had to stop and take a picture of them. It's the characters from the Marvel shows on Netflix. (Left to right: Kilgrave/Purple Man, The Punisher, Jessica Jones, Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Elektra).

This had to be my favorite cosplay of the day. It was guy who was a living arcade machine. Seriously. Awesome.

...and yes I stopped to play.

Artists

There were so many amazing artists all over Comic Con. Here are a couple of pictures of some that we met. They even signed a few of our comics that they worked on.
