NJ Police To Increase Patrols Over the 4th

The New Jersey State Police wants drivers to know that they plan "to significantly increase traffic enforcement details across the state " from now through 6am on Thursday, July 5th. This is according to a post on NJSP's official website.

during the July 4th holiday weekend last year, there were 5 fatal crashes that resulted in 5 deaths, with alcohol as a contributing factor for two of them." They suggest that if you are drinking alcohol that you call a taxi or use services like Uber or Lyft.
