NJ Transit Atlantic City Line Will Be Temporarily Shut Down

NJ Transit riders are shocked as their main source of transportation will be shut down for a couple of months. Many commuters are worried that the Transit will become closed forever.

The NJ Transit  has logged 45,000 trips on the line this past April which has been the lowest ridership of all the agency rail lines.

Last Wednesday commuters have started a petition at Change.org to keep the Transit working. Since Monday there has been more than 2,500 signatures.

So hopefully this will help speed the process in resuming the Atlantic City line.
