Parx Casino Doing Test Run Before Big Launch Of Sports Betting

It's been a long time coming. Parx Casino has been itching to start some fun sports betting. Now it has finally become official.

Well not 100% official yet, but according to Philly.com it will be up and running Thursday at 1pm.

This makes Parx the second casino to offer sports betting in Philadelphia.

Metro Bet NJ mentioned that the Bensalem casino is currently conducting a "soft opening" that started Tuesday (01/08) at 2pm. This early run  is to make sure that all systems are running perfectly before the big launch. This ensured that there would be time for any early mistakes to be fixed.

From the looks of it, Parx casino will also give you the access to place sports bets online and/or on a mobile app. PlayPennsylvania.com mentioned that it should be extremely easy to do this since it will be very similar to the Draft Kings app and site.
