The 'The Wizard of Oz' is turning 80 years old and Peddler's Village is celebrating it.

Wow, talk about a classic movie.

That's why they've decided to celebrate the movie in Bucks County at Peddler's Village with a special, FREE outdoor screening of the movie.

The screening event will take place next month on September 13th at 7:30pm.

If you really want to get into it "Attendees are invited to wear movie-related costumes and to participate in "The Wizard of Oz" trivia game before the movie starts." according to patch.com.

That's a fun one to celebrate!

Naturally, the following day, September 14th will be the launch of Peddler's Village's Scarecrow Festival which will run through September 15th.

If you're wondering what a Scarecrow Festival actually in tales (because I sure was) patch.com says there will be "scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, children's activities, and more."

That's fun for the kids!

If you can't make it to the festival, you can stop by and check out the scarecrow display though October 27th.
