The number of Americans that have applied for unemployment is at an all-time high because of the coronavirus. According to FOX29.com, Pennsylvanians that have applied and been approved for unemployment will temporarily be receiving an extra $600 every week on their check.

It was mentioned on FOX29 that the extra $600 will be temporary. It will benefit self-employed individuals and independent contractors, as well as others. Some Pennsylvanians have already received the extra money from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry on their weekly unemployment checks. Others are set to get them soon, according to FOX29.com.
