The annual Hamilton St. Patrick's Day Parade will be March 9th at 1 pm. It begins at the Nottingham Fire House located at 200 Mercer Street, and then the parade proceeds on Nottingham Way towards the Mercerville Fire Company.

It's always a great time. I'm not an ounce Irish, but, everyone's Irish in Hamilton on that day. PST has been a part of it through the years, and I have fun throwing candy to the crowd. There's such awesome energy.

Many residents who have homes on the parade route have their friends over for parade parties. I've seen grills set up (in March), games, and of course... lots of green.

According to the website, the Grand Marshal this year is Charles "Chuddy" Whalen, the Assistant Business Manager of Local 9 Plumbers and Pipefitters.

If your group or organization would like to be a part of the parade, click here for an application.

There are fundraisers leading up to the parade planned, you can check them out here.

Get your green ready for some fun in Hamilton.
