The Exclusive Backstage Drinks Served at Jay-Z & Beyoncé’s OTII Tour
Jay-Z is basically the biggest ambassador for the cognac brand D'USSE. So, it totally makes sense that these drink recipes are D'USSE based.
As Jay-Z & Beyoncé's OTII Tour approached kick-off, the rapper sought out mixologist, Colin Asare-Appiah, to create an exclusive cocktail menu for the D'USSE VIP Lounge, which is set up backstage at every show.
Asare-Appiah stopped by 6abc when the tour hit Philly last week and shared the exclusive recipes. You're sure to fall Drunk in Love with them.
The 13th (Honoring Jay-Z's 13th Studio Album - 4:44)
- 2 ounces D'USSE VSOP COGNAC
- 1 ounces line juice
- 1/2 ounces simple syrup
- 2 ounces ginger beer or ginger ale
Method: Shake all ingredients (MINUS ginger beer or ginger ale) and then top with ginger beer or ginger ale.
- 2 ounces D'USSE VSOP Cognac
- 6 ounces Simply Lemonade
Method: Build in glass with ice
