The New ‘Joker’ Movie Has Begun Filming in New Jersey

The new 'Joker' movie starring Joaquin Phoenix has begun filming, and it's be filmed in New Jersey.

Where is it happening? It's happening Jersey City. There are a few road closures in the ear around the set, but still, many locals are super excited that a major movie is being filmed in their city.

The movie will be filmed at the Brennan Courthouse, which of course, will be renamed to Wayne Hall for the movie. Pictures of streets around the courthouse even show Gotham City police cars and fire trucks.

After they are done filming in Jersey City, the film's crew will head to Newark for more filming.
