The second quarter of 2019 can't get here any sooner for commuters who are tired of riding the Princeton Shuttle (Dinky). The Princeton Branch rail has been shutdown due to repairs since October 2018.

Princeton Mayor Liz Lempert tweeted out letting everyone know that Dinky customers would be saving a couple bucks until service is restored for the rail train. The 25% discount will only work for a portion of the trip (from Princeton Junction to Princeton Station).

According to NJTransit.com, "The agency continues to address an ongoing shortage of locomotive engineers, as well as equipment availability, as Positive Train Control (PTC) installations, maintenance inspections, and testing continues"
