Have you ever considered waiting tables to be a competitive sport? For the past eight years in Palmer Square, waiters and waitress from popular restaurants in the Princeton area have competed in an intense race to see who will go home with not only bragging rights, but also cash and other valuable prizes.

This Thursday, July 12th at 4 PM, you can see waiters and waitresses put their skills to the test by racing through Palmer Square while carrying a tray full of three glasses of water. According to Patch.com, there is a total of $3,800 in prizes, with the first place winner taking home $350 cash, a weekend overnight stay at the Nassau Inn, and much more. Last year’s race consisted of fifteen participating restaurants, such as town favorites Nomad Pizza and Teresa Caffe. Don’t miss your chance to see this intense, but highly entertaining, event!
