If your family has given up on Christmas Eve or Christmas night dinner (I'm always in awe of my mom for making it for so many years, it must get old, and it's a lot of work), there are plenty of local places open.

Even if you're road tripping to see Grandma or whoever, you can find some places open throughout the state. I wish I would have seen this list last year, as my sister and I were wandering around trying to find someplace open after church on Christmas Eve, and we found one chinese restaurant open, and I don't even like chinese food. Lol. But, this year, more and more restaurants are staying open to make a big profit, because people, like me, don't want to cook.

The Princeton Patch has a great list of local places open, check it out here. Don't worry, it looks like Starbucks and Dunkin' have limited hours so you can get your coffee fix.

Here's another list from Bestofnj.com, so you can sit back, and let someone else do the cooking.

My personal favorite: The Cranbury Inn on Main Street in my hometown of Cranbury, NJ. It's fabulous, give it a try. It's has a hometown feel, with a fireplace in the lobby. You'll love it.
