You know I was born & bred right here in NJ. I love it here. I'm proud of being a Jersey Girl... until now.

I just checked out this new survey from CandyStore.com, which revealed the most popular Halloween candy in each state and I'm embarrassed to say that for NJ, it was Skittles. Yuck!

Of course, Halloween candy is in the stores now in full force already. So of all of the choices, New Jersians chose Skittles? This can't be true.

They didn't ask me because I would have given them a much better answer.  What about my personal favorite: a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup? That's a much better choice. I'll even take the Reeses's Peanut Butter Pumpkin (that's the candy that everyone makes fun of because it's hardly ever shaped like a pumpkin).

Skittles?  It might as well have been raisins. Chewy and gross.

It should have been something chocolate, don't you think? Yum.  So, if you're with me, you can come trick or treating at my house.

Rest assured, you will not be getting Skittles. Curious about the rest of the states? Check out the list here on Candystore.com.
