After a fire damaged the Croydon post office back in August, residents hoped it would be be repaired and reopened within a month or so. However, the post office still remains closed and residents are furious. Although the fire happened back in August and it is now November, the post office is still boarded up and there have been no signs of construction crews doing any kinds of repairs.

Residents only need to travel about two miles away to the Bensalem post office, but it's not just about the inconvenience, it's about more than that. Where the post office sits, there are many other businesses in the strip mall and with people not coming into the post office, it's also affecting sales of those businesses and the ones surrounding them.

A letter was sent by Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick to the U.S. Postmaster General Megan Brennan to reopen the post office. Congressman Fitzpatrick hopes that the office will be repaired and reopened soon.
