Are you prepared to take on Philadelphia Restaurant Week? This year's Center City District Restaurant Week has just kicked off until October 5th.

Don't worry, we've got you covered with an insider's guide to Center City's Philadelphia Restaurant Week.

1. Try Everything
Sure, picking out which restaurants to try is probably the most overwhelming thing. There are so many options, so you just have to try everything. In fact, this is the only time it's acceptable to put on 45 pounds in one week.

Michelle Shannon is the VP of Marketing for the Center City District and plays a huge role in restaurant week. Her word of advice is to get out of your comfort zone and try something new, "be open to new experiences and cuisine, and take advantage of trying out restaurants you haven't been to before," Shannon tells The Philly Voice,

2. Enjoy the Special Prices
You're going to want to take advantage of these special prices while they last! Most of the participating restaurants will be offering three-course dinners for $35 dollars and three-course lunches for $20 dollars. Their prefix menu options will give you a true taste of their restaurant.

3. You Can Win Gift Certificates
Probably the best-kept secret of this year's restaurant week is the chance to win 52 gift certificates for different Philadelphia restaurants. For a chance to win, just register to the IN Center City mailing list by clicking here. If you win, you could try a new restaurant each week for a year!

4. Check Out New Participants
There are some new participants in this year's CCD restaurant week. Some of the new spots include Porta, Casta Diva, Chez Ben Bistro, and The Palm restaurant which has just been renovated. Be sure to check them out.

5. Discounted Parking
Worried about parking or getting to and from each restaurant? The Center City District recommends riding with Lyft. Lyft is offering $10 off your first ride with code "CCDFall18"

And if you are driving into Philly, there are a lot of garages in center city that have discounted prices for restaurant week. Here is a list of select garages that you can park at for $9 dollars or less from 5 p.m- 1 a.m until October 5th.

Visit the CCD website to explore all 120 locations and book your reservations through open table.
