For the second time in two months, reports of Great White shark sightings have been reported along the Jersey Shore. This time, off the coast of Sea Isle City, NJ.

Back on June 12th, a fisherman just off the coast of Little Egg Harbor in Ocean County, New Jersey, caught photos and video of a small, juvenile Great White after he unintentionally hooked it on his line.

Then, just days ago on July 14th, the Pearson's Pursuit Inshore Fishing team (which sails out of Ocean City and Atlantic City) believes they spotted a much larger Great White about 15 miles out of Townsends Inlet in Sea Isle Ridge. The crew says the shark looked approximately 15 feet in length.

The creature's dorsal fin was reportedly visible above the water.

One of the fisherman involved described it as "the biggest shark of my life" and hypothesized it may have been looking for a "lunchtime snack".

However, the sighting has not been confirmed by OCEARCH as a Great White or even an actual shark, according to Patch.com. OCEARCH tags sharks and tracks them in ocean waters.

Still, I'm not too quick to dispute what the Pearson's Pursuit fishermen saw. Especially since the video Travis Bogen took of the shark HE encountered off Little Egg was very clearly a Great White.
