Lower Makefield

Township Line Road near the Middletown Township and Lower Makefield border is closed right now. Officers have been spotted in tactical gear following a reported shooting in the area, Levittownnow.com reports.

The Township's Director of Parks and Recreations says due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it is financially impossible to open the pool in 2020.

Despite protests from residents, the proposed retail/housing development near Shady Brook Farm is getting closer to becoming a reality.

The original meeting was postponed due to the overwhelming number of people in attendance (many who opposed the new development).

Hundreds of residents showed up at a planning commission meeting to voice their opposition to the proposal.

All traffic will be stopped at I-295 Westbound (formerly known as southbound) just after the Scudder Falls Bridge in Lower Makefield, Bucks County at noon today.

A development may go up across the street that may include a Wegmans.

The water company has set up tankers across the area to provide water to those in need.

The PAWC has advised those townships that the water is not currently safe to drink.
