Funeral plans were announced Sunday for a murdered college student from Robbinsville, as her classmates at the University of South Carolina held a vigil to mourn her loss.

The Columbia, South Carolina Police Department just confirmed that they've made an arrest in connection to the kidnapping and murder of Robbinsville native, Samantha Josephson.

The University of South Carolina has confirmed that one of their students (and Robbinsville native) 21-year-old Samantha Josephson has passed away. Samantha was reported missing early Friday morning, according to officials.
