Philadelphia Rapper Becomes Co-Owner of Lids

Meek Mill has officially become co-owner of Lids.

The Philadelphia native has not only become co-owner of the hat retail chain, he also has a limited edition collection of headwear set to be released at the end of the summer.

Of course I'm very curious as to how much he actually cashed out to gain that title.

Well according to phillyvoice.com, Meek Mill "announced Wednesday that he's made a significant investment in hat retailer Lids, becoming a co-owner of the company with more than 1,200 retail locations across the United States."

The rapper says he's always been a fan of the store and has always shopped there.

I love it and I actually think it's a perfect fit for him.

I always think if you're going to invest in something it should be something you're passionate about.

Because Meek Mill is such a big part of the company now, he will "provide creative expertise on brand strategy," says phillyvoice.com.
