PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES

PART-TIME PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT

Townsquare Media Trenton (New Jersey 101.5 FM and WPST 94.5 FM) is looking to fill part-time positions in our Promotions and Marketing Department. The part-time promotions assistant will help with daily activities that promote the station, clients or events.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits, and other street team activities from start to finish.
  • Interact with listeners, clients, and execute prize giveaways on-site.
  • Set up, breakdown, and transport promotional equipment to and from events including tents, banners, sound systems, prizing, etc.
  • Photograph and record events for client recaps and social media.
  • Drive promotional vehicles to and from events.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent education.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision making.
  • Ability to stand for multiple hours and lift/move 40-pound objects.

Townsquare Media Trenton (New Jersey 101.5 FM and WPST 94.5 FM) is looking for a dynamic sales executive to join our media and digital advertising team! You will be selling local advertising for our innovative stations & all of its platforms, plus programmatic digital advertising and website platforms that include development, SEO and mobilization of sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for qualified local and regional businesses; conduct thorough Customer Needs Analysis (C N A); present and close appropriate marketing solution programs. These programs may include any of Townsquare Media’s many assets for clients: Broadcast and Online radio, digital products such as display, streaming, loyalty programs, e-commerce, audience extension and digital marketing services.
  • Leverage our live event platform through sponsorship and sales programs to new and existing clients.
  • Create new relationships with local and regional businesses in our area.
  • Work with local and corporate marketing teams to develop campaign support materials.
  • Responsible to accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines and overachieve annual budgets.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales contract details for station clients.
  • Follow accountability set forth by your Sales Manager to help guide you to success achieving monthly sales quotas consistently.
  • Provide insight and value to executive management to shape the future of our organization.

Qualifications:

  • Goal oriented, a strong work ethic and a strong desire to learn.
  • Previous sales experience. A history of success with customers and a proven ability to develop and grow revenue.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital media.
  • The successful candidate will be smart, curious, tenacious, entrepreneurial, independent, passionate, and enthusiastic, and work with urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Accomplished at prospecting and qualifying.
  • Ability to engage clients quickly and develop rapport, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Associates/Bachelor’s business/marketing-related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle required.

GENERAL SALES MANAGER

New Jersey 101.5 and 94.5 PST, owned and operated by Townsquare Media, are looking for a General Sales Manager. Do you love helping businesses grow? Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the local radio, live event and digital sales department.

  • Retain and support our A players, recruit and grow new sellers on the team.

 Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of media including radio, digital products in marketing and advertising.
  • Must be able to develop exciting written proposals and verbal delivery.
  • Must have a successful track record and experience in consultative selling.
  • Must have 3 years of sales and management experience with a proven successful track record.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Townsquare Media is looking for a bright and energetic 'Local Account Manager' to join our growing Operations Team. Our team is responsible for providing front line support to our sales department in both pre-sale and post-sale tasks. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented role where you will serve as the organizational guru. The Local Account Manager is a natural communicator and problem solver. This position thrives in a dynamic and competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Enters sales orders into Wide Orbit and helps follow the life or an order up to launch. Handles requests from sellers to modify orders as well.
  • Collaborates with Digital Campaign Manager, trafficking team and sellers to organize items needed for campaigns
  • Occasionally produces reports and reviews them for issues related to pacing, delivery and reconciliation
  • Acts as true extension to sales and operations by assisting with proposals, sales research, creative guidance and more.
  • Provides administrative and/or process support for contracts, customer service and order history.
  • Create advertiser screenshot decks
  • Generate campaign performance reports and assist in creating customized reports through resources and data, establishing Ignite as the premiere consultative digital solutions partner

 Qualifications:

  • Past experience within the marketing/advertising field welcomed, strong organizational and time management skills preferred
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); eagerness to further develop relationship building skills
  • Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and can work independently within a team focused organization
