A pair of healthcare workers has been accused of attacking a patient at Crystal Lake Rehab on October 14.

Firefighters made "good progress" on Tuesday on the Fishers Pit Wildfire, putting out hotspots along the fire’s perimeter and strengthening containment lines.

The family of Adriana Kuch, a 14-year-old girl who died by suicide, has filed a lawsuit against their local school district and administrators, accusing them of negligence in dealing with bullying.

William Andujar, of Whiting, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and driving under the influence of alcohol, in connection with the 2020 incident in Berkeley Township.

The Mt. Holly girl was found unresponsive by another Holbein middle school student on Feb. 6 and was pronounced dead at CHOP on Feb. 8. Law enforcement determined no foul play, while the district has not publicly spoken about the details.

Following a teen’s suicide, Triantafillos Parlapanides responded to media requests with inflammatory remarks, before adding they were ‘off the record.’ After being quoted, the Central Regional Schools Superintendent said he was stepping down. He remains on the payroll.

Four juveniles involved in a Feb. 1 incident with Adriana Kuch before the 14-year-old's suicide in Bayville have faced charges, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

Triantafillos Parlapanides resigned as Central Regional Schools Superintendent on Feb. 11, the school board previously announced. Nearly two weeks later, he was still getting paid.

Asked about state reaction to the suicide of 14-year-old Adriana Kuch and accusations of mishandled bullying at Central Regional, the governor says the state will "look in the mirror" after such awful tragedy.

In the days since 14-year-old Adriana Kuch took her own life in Bayville, several teens face charges stemming from a fight caught on video. Others say this isn't the first time bullying allegations were mishandled.
