Troye Sivan released a cover of the iconic Queen song, "Somebody to Love," in celebration of Queen’s new biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, and their late lead singer, Freddie Mercury.

This cover is the third in a series of cover songs released to support the band and their biopic, which is in theaters today (November 2).

“I’m so beyond honored to have been asked to cover ‘Somebody to Love’ by Queen, a masterful song by the most legendary band,” said the singer in a press release.

The cover, which Queen’s manager Jim Beach calls a “unique take on the song,” is a softer, more mellow version of the big-voiced, gospel-inspired hit, which was originally released in 1976. “It is both moving and totally original,” Beach adds.

Troye, Universal Music Group and Queen will donate profits from the song to the Mercury Phoenix Trust organization, which was founded in 1992 to support the fight against AIDS after Mercury died of AIDS-related causes.

The track was mixed by Josh Gudwin and produced by Bram Inscore, who’s worked with Sivan on both his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood, and his newest, Bloom. Bloom has reached 700 million streams globally, and the Australian artist's debut sold more than 2.5 million adjusted albums worldwide.
