We've been waiting for Louis Tomlinson's debut solo album since he so eagerly teased it in April, and now we're finally getting it.

After sending fans on a scavenger hunt Wednesday (October 23), the former One Direction star officially announced the record (which can be pre-ordered here) and its release date while thanking fans for their patience for the delay via a Twitter video.

Walls is slated for a January 31, 2020 release and will feature the already released singles "Two of Us" and "Kill My Mind," along with "We Made It," which is slated to drop tomorrow (October 24).

Along with the album announcement, the 27-year-old is sharing YouTube videos detailing the making of the record. In the first episode he discusses his solo style, explaining how bands like Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, and Amy Winehouse were played on pop radio when he was growing up. "That was like the cooler side of pop music," he said, "and that's something that I've always wanted to represent, and that feels musically authentic but still has that big pop chorus."
